About the Job:
Arrive on time at customers home with proper tools for preset measure appointments
Accurately measure and draw out space including fixtures, windows and doorways
Review layout of kitchen with customer to ensure all components are correct and all measurements are accurate
Review appliance locations and new appliances to ensure they will fit and review proper electric, gas and plumbing is in place or planned as part of the project
Draw plumbing, gas and electric line information on diagrams noting any changes with customer initials
Review all project paperwork required to order the job and obtain needed signatures from the customer
Learn IKEA product line to ask questions and provide Planning Team a list of ‘must haves’ and “would like to have’
Responsible for providing a positive customer experience, accurate measurements, entering and transmitting measurements
Performs other duties requested by superior as necessary;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy;
Highly organized and flexible;
Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines;
Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision;
Provide comprehensive knowledge of the homeowner’s contract and installation requirements
Strong computer skills
Sales experience & Construction estimating experience
Valid Driver’s License & Reliable transportation
Employee is employed hereunder on a salaried basis.
Weekly salary shall be $paid in the week following the week in which Employee was employed by Company.Salary shall be prorated for Employee’s final week of employment, in accordance with the actual number of weekdays worked.
Company will pay reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred by Employee during the course of his or her duties, provided that all expenses reimbursed are approved by the person indicated in the “Reports to:” section above and the submission of these expenses is in accordance with Company policy as promulgated by Company from time-to-time.
